DATA CONTROLLER

Personal data is collected on the site by the company Hôtel du Balcon, a limited liability company registered with the RCS of Paris – 421 962 614 and whose registered office is Place de l’hôtel de ville 40130 Capbreton.

PURPOSE OF THE COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

The purpose of collecting personal data through the various forms on the website is to:

  • Allow the sending of newsletters by our services

By submitting the form and checking the appropriate consent boxes, the user expressly agrees to the processing of their personal data for the purpose of the business relationship.
The collection of personal data through the Google Analytics audience tracking tool used on the website is intended to:

  • Analyze user behavior on the site in order to measure their audience and improve their performance.

Google Analytics uses third-party cookies to distinguish users. Cookies are text files placed on users’ devices. They do not contain any personally identifiable information, only randomly generated identifiers.

By browsing the site, the user expressly agrees to the processing of personal data collected by Google Analytics for the purpose of analyzing user behavior in order to improve the site’s performance.

Data collected via forms is stored for two years from the date of form submission.
The cookies used by the Google Analytics audience measurement tool have the following lifespans:

_gid: 24 hours
_gat: 1 minute

CONFIDENTIALITY OF PERSONAL DATA

The personal data collected about you by the website www.hotel-dubalcon.fr is intended solely for the use of Le Balcon and will only be used in connection with the request submitted via the form.
Under no circumstances will the personal data entered and submitted on the forms be transmitted, rented, or sold to third parties.
Employees of the Hôtel du Balcon will sign a confidentiality agreement obligating them to respect the confidentiality of the data under penalty of sanctions.

LOCATION FOR STORING PERSONAL DATA

The website’s hosting servers are located exclusively in France, within the European Union.
Le Balcon is committed to not transferring any personal data to a country outside the European Union.

PERSONAL DATA SECURITY

The site is hosted on our own secure servers.

All pages use HTTPS, TLS 1.2 / RSA 2048-bit encryption (SHA256withRSA). This security protocol encrypts the content of communications between the browser and the database servers. This prevents personal data entered and submitted via forms from being easily read by third parties during transmission.

However, no transmission or storage of personal data is ever completely secure. Consequently, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of information transmitted to or stored on our hosting servers.
